The funny thing is, I have nearly 100 sites that bring in the same kind of return- do the math! Maybe I will start looking at new Ferraris (actually I am more of a classic muscle car type of guy- maybe a 1971 Chevelle Super Sport).
I have been making websites for 4 years now and I have consistently used one formula to earn money. The fact that you are even reading this confirms my formula works.
Let me back up for a second. I made my first website in February of 2007 to advertise my Hot Dog Truck. The site kind of took off and it earned me a few hundred bucks a month after only two or three months. The next winter, when I closed up the Hot Dog Truck for the season, I started looking at ways to make more money online.
Remember, I was a hot dog man on winter break and as far as making money online, I had:
-No experience
-No capital to invest
-No technical knowledge
-NO CLUE!
What I did have is a wife, an ex-wife, 5 kids and a dog. Not to mention a mortgage, two cars, two hot dog trucks etc etc. The only things I don't have anymore are the two hot dog trucks and I'm close to not having the mortgage anymore! Now, if I could only get someone to marry the ex wife....
But I digress. I, like everyone else out there, had bills to pay and responsibilities to uphold. So I thought I'd take a crack at making some money online while I had my seasonal downtime.
My wife thought I was just goofing around on the computer all day- she encouraged me to be "more productive" online. She even went so far as to say she thought what I was doing was a big waste of time. She changed her tune when I took her and the kids on a vacation to see her family in Las Vegas!
I had stumbled on a nifty little formula that let an inexperienced, non techy type guy extract money from the internet without a big investment. Not only did I do it every day, but I increased my earnings every day. Guess what? I am still doing it.
My philosophy is this: when you find something that works, just duplicate it. Every time you duplicate it, you make more money!
I spent eight bucks to get started and that is the only money I have ever taken out of my pocket- everything else I did involved free (or very inexpensive) tools and any expenses I incurred (like buying domain names or a couple of new computers) came from my profits. The original $8 investment has long since been repaid.
So what is the formula I discovered? It's pretty simple. Find small niche topics or keywords, make a website that will address the needs of the niche, build it, choose a good domain, get it to rank high in Google search, repeat.
Does that sound so hard? It really isn't. Back in 2008, I was only doing this "web stuff" part time and I wasn't quite as fast in finding the right niches and building the sites, but with practice I got better. Now I am able to get a site live from an idea to a live site in 4-5 hours.
That's 4-5 hours for one site that I can "set and forget." Of course I don't forget when the ca$h rolls in! Occasionally I will tweak a site, but once it's done, I am pretty much done.
I don't do anything illegal, immoral, unethical or related to "adult content." I don't do anything that will get me banned from Google (although they did ask me to remove Adsense from this site). I don't spend lots of time and money setting up fancy schmancy websites.
What I do is one of the oldest business secrets in the world: Find a need and fill it. And you know what? It works.
I have been using these methods for three years now and I
-don't worry about money
-work for myself
-get to choose when and where I work
-spend lots of time with my family
When I first got started, I worked A LOT. I wasn't as fast as I am now and I still had my hot dog truck. I also was starting from nothing, so it took some time to build sites up to the point where I had a steady income.
Now, I just watch the money roll into my Paypal and checking account every month!
So you're probably wondering, "what the hell is he doing?"
What I am doing is using techniques I learned from Google Sniper.
Google Sniper is a series of videos and an ebook that takes you, step by step, through the methods of finding super targeted niche topics, making a website or blog that applies to the topic, choosing the right product(s) to promote, choosing the right domain- basically everything you need to know to get going.
Like I said, I have been doing this for a few years now and it's working for me. I don't buy many "courses," but a close friend recommended this to me when I was starting out and I am very glad I bought it. On any of my sites, I don't promote any course or book that I haven't purchased and read myself. There are some I have bought that I won't recommend, because they suck.
Google Sniper doesn't suck. It works for me and, if you put in some time, it will work for you too.
